Question 1

Who is Votan Labs?

Accepted Answer

Votan Labs is an independent Perth-based AI and automation consultancy. We help small and mid-sized businesses across Australia implement AI safely, automate manual work, and connect disconnected systems so the data they already have turns into insights, leads, and early warnings.

Question 2

What does AI implementation involve?

Accepted Answer

AI implementation at Votan Labs means discovery of painful or repetitive work, scoping what AI can safely help with, building a small pilot inside your existing tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, your CRM, your job system), then a measured rollout with your team trained and in control. We favour incremental wins over big-bang projects.

Question 3

Do you offer AI consulting for small businesses in Perth?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Votan Labs offers vendor-neutral AI consulting for small and mid-sized businesses in Perth and across Australia. We advise on where AI actually helps, what to skip, whether to buy or build, and how to roll it out safely with your existing tools.

Question 4

Can you integrate our existing systems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. System integration is core to what we do. We connect CRMs, accounting tools like Xero and MYOB, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, job and field-service systems, spreadsheets, email, and document stores so data flows automatically and AI has clean inputs to work from.

Question 5

Is our data safe when you implement AI?

Accepted Answer

We default to keeping data inside your existing tenancy (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, your own databases), avoid sending customer data to public AI tools unless you choose to, and put human-in-the-loop checks on anything that touches customers, money, or compliance.

Question 6

Do you only work with Microsoft Power Platform?

Accepted Answer

No. Power Platform is one tool we use well, but we are vendor-neutral. We will recommend whatever fits, including Zapier, Make, n8n, Google Apps Script, custom code, or simply better use of tools you already own.
